My heart is beating faster then ever before. I can smell petrol it’s almost dark and the sound of beeping horns all around me. I was trapped in the middle of the road. TWO YEARS LATER My mother was telling me to stay close as she took me in to a shop. She let go of my hand and I saw the most wonderful thing, a pink tutu. I went across the road to see it. Then I screamed, “help” as loud as I could! Car roared past so fast but not as fast as tears that rolled down my face. I sat down and cried, I thought it was the end. Then I heard, “stay where you are!” I opened my eyes and saw a lady running for me, she pick me up and took my to safety. Are you ok? Are you hurt? How do you feel? Do you what me to call the ambulance? Asked the lady. I caught back m y breath, question where spinning around my head and I didn’t know the answers. I couldn’t think straight. Breathing heavily I spoke, “Where’s my mum?” I raised my head and stared at her as she looked at the ground. Then I heard a siren and there was a huge crowd looking at me. I stared to cry, and the lady put her arm around me. Her was cold and I wiped me saturated face. The ambulance took me away I was so scared. I looked behind me and I saw some ambulance people holding back the paparazzi. Suddenly the sun moved from behind the clouds, it was warmer the birds flew over me. I heard someone laughing and crying. It was my mum. I run over to her, she smelt like perfume and she looked like she had been crying for years. TWO WEEKS LATER We are still friends with the lady and her name is Milly, “Mooey!” “Yes mill oh my name is Michele but call me Mooey”
The king has ordered all of his men to prepare for battle even the ones guarding the sword. Smaugs army are marching down a huge hill and all of the villagers are running and screaming and farewelling there husbands who are going out to war. But Smaug has a plan that no one else knew about except for Smaug and his army. Smaug was planning to break in the back way while his army was putting on a distraction. Smaug is sneaking around the castle. While king Johnathon is trying to find Smaug in the pack of his army. Smaug is going inside the door when king Johnathon finally figures out what Smaug has planned. King Johnathon is running as fast as he can to the cavern where the sword of light is held. When king Johnathon finally gets to the cavern he spots Smaug just running to the exit with the sword of light.

I walked slowly into the darkness I heard voices coming from the rock pool under the cave. I thought I was dreaming when I saw a … mermaid.
The next morning I woke up on my bed. I thought about what happened last night, was it just a dream? I didn’t remember getting back in bed. ‘’Anne get down here! ‘’ my mom called. I went down stairs to see my mum holding a piece of paper with my name on it.
‘’Anne you have taken this test 3 times now and you have failed again’’ Mum said.
It’s too hard to pass the test. The questions don’t make any sense! I replied. Mum didn’t like me arguing with her so she said that if I don’t pass this test I’m grounded for a month.
At school I met up with my friend Monica. Monica was always got great test results. My greatest was a d- which I think is pretty good for a 13 teen year old.
Our teacher Mr. Martian had the horrible habit of giving us assignments every 2 weeks. Mr. Martian is my mom’s favorite teacher. ‘‘Good morning class as you all knows last week’s topic was to make a volcano, some did well and others didn’t “Mr. Martian said looking at me. Our next assignment will be to write an article about your greatest adventure yet.
After school I started thinking about my greatest adventure yet. I had nothing I couldn’t think of anything. “What about the time we went to the zoo and the panda ate your cookie” Mom said. “That was when I was four” I replied. That night I went back to the rock pool it had a magical mystical feeling about it. I was think if I saw a real mermaid. Then the rock pools water started bubbling. Bubbles started rising from the water. Then I really could see a mermaid. The mermaid had rainbow scales and colorful sea shells in her hair.
“Who are you?” I asked
“I’m Shelly I’m a mermaid”
“My mom owns this cave and the rock pool” I said
Over the weeks Shelly and I became good friends. One day I went to meat Shelly like I promised but she wasn’t there.
I stood there waiting for her but she didn’t come then I accidentally fell into the rock pool. I didn’t sink though I grew a tail and turned in to mermaid. I swam into a small cave in the rock pool that led to a river. I was wondering how to get back to land when I heard a voice screaming for help. I followed the mermaid’s voice. Then I came to find the mermaid yelling help was actually Shelly.
Shelly was caught in a net. Shelly told me she was trying to swimming with a dolphin when she got caught in a net. I recognized that the net came from a boat and the back of the boat had my dad’s company logo on it. I found my back to land and got out of the water then I turned back into a human. I ran back home and saw my mum preparing dinner. “Hi Anne would you like to watch a movie?” She said. “No thanks I replied I have to call dad”. I went and called dad. “Hi sweetie” He said. “Dad I need you to stop your boat that’s fishing near our house”. “But why?”
I was about to tell dad that a mermaid got stuck in the boats net but he wouldn’t believe me. I told dad that one of my friends was swimming and her necklace got stuck in the net. Dad stopped the net. I ran back to the rock pool I turned back into a mermaid. I went and saved Shelly. Shelly was so happy, she thought she would die. Shelly told me that I turned into a mermaid when I went into the rock pools water because the water was magic and only people with mermaid DNA could turn into a mermaid. She also told me that my great grandmother was a mermaid. Shelly asked me to keep her a secret I agreed but she said it was okay to write about her.
It was the day we had to hand in “My greatest adventure yet”. I wrote about Shelly. Mr. Martian said it was a great story but not true so I got a B+. I continued having fun adventures with Shelly.
Now I’m older and I write award winning children’s books. I call them “ My great adventures’’.
One Sunny afternoon, there was a soccer game at Manchester United Stadium. There were 60,000,000 screaming fans inside the stadium making a loud roar.
The Manchester United team quickly entered onto the pitch and gave the other team a powerful hand- shake .The player for Arsenal and Manchester United quickly went into their positions. Six minutes into the game Cristiano Ronaldo shot for a goal just outside the penalty box for Manchester United. Manchester United fans got up from their seats and shouted, “GOAL“!!. Two minutes later the kick of started once again and Arsenal got the ball. The ball gets kicks to centre back and then a MASSIVE kick all the way to full forward Manchester United. The goalkeeper pounced onto the ball. The siren sounds for half time.
A huge roar went up from the crowd when the second half started. The Arsenal player Henry Onrei crosses the ball from the left wing and then…… a header came from a defender and the ball went in for a GOAL!!!. Now the score is 1-1 after 10 minutes into the second half. The kick off started again and Manchester United have got the ball and Wayne R ooney Passed the to Cristiano Ronaldo. Cristiano Ronaldo hesitates for a moment in front of the penalty box. He sees his manager to take the shot with only one minute to go. Cristiano shoots for goal and the crowd went absolutely wild because he scored. The score now was 2-1 and his team mates jumped on him with joy and then the siren sounded for the end of the game.
Cristiano Ronaldo celebrated after the game with his team mates, supporters and with his manager.
Yesterday I went to school and the strangest thing happened .I opened my desk to get a book for my teacher and right at the bottom of my desk I saw a black hole. It was pulling me closer and closer until it pulled me right through the middle. It took me to another world somewhere, where there were tiny people.
After a few minutes I began to grow smaller and smaller, soon I was smaller then small I was tiny!
Oh no I thought I was panicking I didn’t know what to do, then suddenly out of no where one of the tiny people started talking to me. She told me that her name was Abby, and that the only way out was through a orange hole that was no where to be seen. This one orange hole only appeared every pink sun. “A pink sun I thought.”When is the next pink sun?”I asked. Abby answered. “Two days.” “Two days is too long, I’ve got to get back to my class room for the maths test after lunch. How will I ever get back in time? I thought. I’ll miss the test and fail in maths. “Are you sure that there is no other way to get out of this place?”I asked. Abby replied “Yes I am sure.”Then one of her friends Lolly pop Came over and told me “yes there is a white hole that will take you back to your class room, the hole is over the hill and around the river”. How did I get there you may ask, well I walked for two hours over the hill and walked for two hours after the hill and around the river. Then I saw it the white hole I walked right through the middle. There I was back in my class room aceing the test, until the bell went for the end of the day then I went home. When I got home I sat down and told my mum all about my day and wondered what adventures I might have tomorrow.
SHOE AHEAD!
I opened the door to see millions of pairs of shoes. Then I saw the black spotted shoes with a light shining above. OMG I saw them and stared.
Ahhh…. “They’re so beautiful!” cried Lauren. Then she saw someone on the other side. It was Laura saying the same thing. I stared. The bell rang which means 5 minutes left and the mall gate will shut.
So Lauren and Laura both charged to get the shoes. I won WOOOHOO! Then I finally found the box to put the shoes in. With three minutes left to go. I ran to the counter and brought the shoes.
I got the shoes in the bag and ran to the gate. It was closing. So I ran even faster. But I was too late. I didn’t get through. It was just me; yes just me with the black spotted shoes.
“Thank god that I got my phone back today, I can call someone.” said Lauren. She grabbed her phone and then heard something behind her. It was Laura! With the pink spotted shoes.
I screamed in fright. Then pulled out my phone, to call someone. There was no reception. I walked down the corridor. No reception. I started to cry. Then something fell on my head. BANG and I was out, lying on the floor. When I woke up I was laying on a bed with faces staring at me. I blink to make sure I wasn’t dreaming. But I wasn’t, it was real. I ask about the shoes.
They said what shoes? I say the black spotted shoes. “Oh those shoes,” said the doctor. I think a girl called Laura took them. “WHY DID YOU LET HER?” screamed Lauren. Then Laura walked in, she was wearing MY black spotted shoes.
“Give me back those shoes!” screamed Lauren. I took my sheets off, pushed my dad over and ran to get my shoes.
I chased Laura down the corridor. She couldn’t run because of the black spotted shoes. I caught her and tripped her. “Yes I finally get to wear these shoes. SO I wore them back to the doctor’s room, to say that I’m fine and can I go home.
When I got home I turned on the T.V sat on the couch and fell asleep.
The next morning I went to the mall, to see how I was knocked out.
When I got there I realized that there was a hole in the roof.
When I looked up, I saw an advertisement saying about sun glasses. So I rushed into the shop to see the white huge Sunnies. But that’s another story to tell.
