Here is a link to Lois Lowry’s web page.  I think we should send her a class email to say how much we enjoyed her book. What do you think?

“Number The Stars” Homework

Wow that story was soooo touching it realy broke my heart in parts, scared me half to death in others and made me laugh in some. I got sooooo tense when the soldiers stopped Annemarie, it had alot of detail in it and I agree with Mrs Guest it gave me goose bumps too! hope you choose us another wonderful book Mrs Guest, if you have any suggestions I’m sure we can get them to Mrs Guest to consider.

Bye for now but not forever

Week 2 Term 2: How did you feel, what were you thinking?

.

Homework for Week 2 Term 2

Boy oh boy – I got goosebumps (again) when we read the end of “Number the Stars”.  I always get tears in my eyes when I read the very last part – the real letter written by Kim to his mother the night before he was executed.  I’d be really interested to know what you were thinking and what you were feeling as we read and finished the story.  You could leave a comment at the end of this post OR you could write your own post with your new sign-in details and make sure you tick the “Number the Stars” category before you submit your post for review.

Hope you’re having a good weekend,

Mrs Guest
