Mum and Dad went to work and they were supposed to work till the night. When the school was finished I was walking to home. When I went home there was no one at home. I didn’t have a pair of keys too. “Oh” I yelled. I waited till the evening. I walked down the street. I was walking and walking and walking because I didn’t know what to do. It was dark. I had walked many times in the street but I never walked till the end of the street. I suddenly fell into a pit (hole).
I didn’t know where I was. The place was very dark but I noticed that there was something which was glowing at the corner.
I saw that there was a little pond in the shape of a circle. The pond was decorated with precious jewellery. The pond was decorated with jewellery like gold, emerald, ruby, diamond etc… I felt very strange when I saw all of them. I was not happy when I saw the jewellery because I did not have interest on those things. I wanted to go home as soon as possible. I heard someone saying that “you can make a wish”! I looked around to see that who was speaking. The voice came again saying “I’m behind you I’m the pond speaking”.
I felt strange. I thought that “how could a pond speak?” the pond spoke again and it said “make a wish”.
I didn’t believe that we can make a wish and the pond will fulfil it. I thought of testing it first. I wished for a flower. There was a beautiful flower floating in the air. I took the flower and I had some confidence that the pond can fulfil our wishes and it is not harmful.
I wished for a chocolate and the pond gave me a chocolate. The chocolate was yummy. I wished for some juice after I finished eating the chocolate. The juice was really good.
I got bored after some time. I was thinking that what I could wish for. “Got it” I said to myself and wished for many interesting books. The pond asked me “Could you name the book or the series which you want to have” I told the pond that I wanted each and every book of the series “The tiara club”. My wish was fulfilled. I was really happy to get all those books.
I opened my drink bottle and started to drink water. I almost finished the water the water but I was still thirsty. I asked the pond for some water. I put a drop of water from the pond into my drink bottle. I saw that he water in my drink bottle was like the water in the pond it had a smiling face in it.
I emptied my drink bottle and filled my drink bottle with the water from the pond.
I asked the pond to take me back home. In a second I was inside my house. My Mum and Dad were there. I told them all about the pond (I thought I did). And I emptied my drink bottle an aquarium which had fishes in it. Now the water also has a face and magic. I thanked the pond or the water of the pond for helping me. Next morning I woke up and asked the water of the pond for some soft toys. OK your wish will be fulfilled in a minute said the pond. “Whoosh” I got many soft toys. The toys were very cute. I thanked the pond again.
I said to my mum and dad that you can make a wish too. Mum and dad were confused (just like me when I heard the pond speaking for the first time).they did not believe it. I said that “it’s true you can make a wish”.
Mum thought of testing it. She wished for a book. In a second there was a book floating in the air waiting for mum to take it.”OK” said dad. “I believe that this water can fulfil our desired wish” he said.
Day by day there were many things coming in our house as we were making lots of new wishes. We were really happy but there was a problem too, the things were becoming more and more in the house. We thought of to put all the useless things out side. Suddenly an idea stuck in my mind. I said that we shall sell those things. My idea was agreed. Our things were sold too. My mum asked “me how did you get the water and from where did you?” I said that “I’ve already told you”. Mum said that” no you have not told me”. “Well I thought that I’ve told you” I said. I told everything to my parents.
My dad said that “we can go to that place when we are free (when we have holidays or in the spare time).
“That is a good idea “I said. After sometime I didn’t know what to do. So I put my finger in the aquarium and forgot that there were fishes in it. A fish bit my finger and I suddenly woke up and realised that it was my dream.
It was early in the morning so I slept for sometime and thought that “never dream of such things” and went to sleep.
After I woke up I told my mum and dad about the dream. There was silence for a minute and all of us began to laugh.
