I woke up this morning because I new that the famous soccer players were coming to school.

I have always loved soccer ever since I was five. I got school by walking with my friend Lauren. She also loved soccer but I still think I loved it more.

Every day before school we would always go and watch the Socceroos train. Well, we don’t exactly go in there but Lauren and I found a big peaky hole so both of us could see through.

I have always wanted to be a famous soccer player with Lauren. We knew all the rules and we played really well.

At recess and lunch, we always asked to play soccer with the boys but they didn’t care. We decided we would play even if they say no. At recess, we made a plan. At lunch we went over to the boys and started kicking the ball around. Matthew who keeps saying no got really angry but said that we could play. In the end, we won because Lauren and I kicked 2 goals each.

It was finally the end of lunch and the Socceroos came to the school. They told every one if you get 10 questions rite you and a friend can watch the Socceroos play and can get a free lesson. After school, Lauren came over to my house to work on the questions with me. The next morning on the way to school, we took our answers to the post box.

We waited and waited to see if we won. It was on Monday that in my letter box there were two tickets along with an invitation to free soccer lessons. I had no idea what to do so I just screamed. When it was finally the day of the game Lauren and I were first in line. There was a massive gush of wind and the tickets blew out of my hand. We dashed out of line to chase after the tickets leaving our first class spot to about 1,000 other people.

Every time we went to pick them up, they blew away again. I was so annoyed.

Just as it was getting later, the tickets got stuck in a tree. We tried every to get it down! We used a stick, we threw things at it but it didn’t work so I got on Laurens shoulders and reached up and got it.

We rushed back and we got there just in time to watch the game.

It was the last 10 seconds when the Socceroos scored the winning goal. We went back home with the results of the game.

From Monday the 17th to Friday the 21st of august Jenny came to our class room for teacher experince. If anyone would like to leave a comment u r sure welcome. Then we can show her all the comments the next time she comes. I hope everyone enjoyed having her here in our class. Jenny did quite a few activities like hip hop helping and lots more.
